Thermal Insulation: Polyisocyanurate - TRYMER™

Polyisocyanurate (commonly known as PIR, Polyiso or Iso) is a well proven and very efficient thermal insulation. It can be used in a multitude of applications in commercial, industrial and institutional construction. Polyiso offers the highest 'R' value per inch of thickness and offers the best cost/benefit value of all insutions. Different facings are available to increase the moisture resistance of the base products and the service temperature of most porducst is between -100°F to 250°F.

Polyurethane (PUR, urethane) has generally been replaced where more stringent fire ratings have been required.

TRYMER™ 1600

Trymer™ polyisocyanurate pipe insulation - closed-cell, high-performance insulation with one of the lowest ambient k-factors among all pipe insulations. Produced in a selection of densities and compressive strengths for a broad range pipe, vessel, equipment and duct applications, fabricated by GCI. Trymer insulation has excellent dimensional stability. Service temperature range: -297°F to +300°F (-183°C to +149°C).
