GCI offers a full line of refractory insulating products manufactured by Thermal Ceramics and Vesuvius. Illustrated here are those most commonly used in our industry where high heat resistance, fire rated systems and thermal permormance are necessary attributes of the insulating products. CER-WOOL blanket products are made from a spun process whereby as produced ceramic fiber is air-laid into a continuous mat and mechanically needled for added strength. CER-WOOL blankets do not contain organic binders and they are available in standard 24" and 48" widths and thickness from 1/2" to 2". Kaowool blanket, Kaowool S blanket, Cerablanket®, Cerachem® blanket and Cerachrome® blanket are air laid inot a continuous mat and mechanically needled for added strength and surface integrity. Pyroscat Duct Wrap is a flexible fire barrier system designed for grease ducts, ventilation air ducts and other exhaust duct applications. Single layer systems (In accordance with Omega Point Laboratories Listings) and double layer systems provide for a two hour rated fire resistive duct assembly and zero clearance to combustibles over the entire surface of the protected duct.
